The fizy app, in new countries

I led the fizy mobile app as it went global, launched in new countries and passed two million monthly users.

    • Turkcell's 1440 strategy: be useful across the whole day, not only during the minutes of calls. For fizy that meant the commute and the living room.
    • So the car came first, CarPlay and Android Auto; then home, Chromecast and Apple TV; then better recommendations and playlists.
    • Going global meant single sign-on and a white-label build, so a new country could launch without a new app.

    Podcasts inside fizy

Podcasts published once in Podcast Studion, and heard in fizy too.

    • One upload in Podcast Studion reached both apps; episodes and updates flowed to fizy over Kafka.
    • fizy sent listening data back, so podcasters saw their fizy numbers in the same dashboard.
